30 Ton/day Pulp Coal Plant.
The ore is extracted from the mine in mining cars (U-35) to a coarse hopper.
The coarse hopper has a capacity of 30 MT. It has a metal gate of mechanical handling, with a ½” grate, this goes directly to a Jaw Crusher of characteristics;
Stationary grizzly for in-plant crushing, 69 “x24 “x26”, with discharge hopper.
FIMA jaw crusher, 8 “x10”, with Delcrosa 10 Hp, 440 v. three-phase electric motor (without plate), code: MOT – 000005.
The ore is transported after the jaw crusher to the fines hopper, by means of a belt with an electric motor with the following characteristics:
12 “x 14 meters conveyor with a positive inclination of 12º.
Delcrosa brand electric, 1.2 Hp, 1700 rpm. Model NV8004, Code: MOT – 000006.
(without plate). With connection to the belt.
The 440 and 220V electrical cables are distributed after the main panel in “cable ducts” to the secondary control panels of each section.
The ore transported first arrives at the vibrating screen, with a ½” grid. The smaller volume ore goes directly to the fines hopper, the coarser ones go to the roller crusher to then fall into the fines hopper, the characteristics of the motors and others are:
of 36 “x60 “x14″, of ½”. With Delcrosa electric motor, 2.4 Hp, Model NV90L4, 1720 Rpm. Code: MOT – 000007
16 “x10” roller conveyor, FIMA – DENVER brand, with two motors (Roller 1 and Roller 2), code: CHA – 000002.
with Delcrosa brand electric motor, model NV132S8, 12 Hp, 860 Rpm. Three-phase 440 v., code: MOT – 000008.
with Delcrosa brand electric motor, model NV160M8, 9 Hp, 865 Rpm. Three-phase 440 v., code: MOT – 000009.
It has a metallic structure of 10′ diameter x 6′ high, with a storage capacity of 15 MT. With support, in the lower part it has a conveyor belt that goes to the mill.
After the fines hopper, the ore is transported by a conveyor belt with a discharge chute to the ball mill. The mill has steel balls of different diameters for grinding the ore to -200 mesh, then the ground ore passes through a gravimetric concentrator where the grinding mesh can be measured and this goes to a helical classifier, the classifier with an inclination of +10º has the property of capturing the concentrate of grain larger than the required mesh and return it to the mill. The fine concentrate diluted with cyanide solution (NaCN + H2O) goes to the SRL Galigher pump, through a 2 ½” pipe. The SRL pump transfers the solution with the concentrate to a cyclone and this distributes it to the agitator tank, in the milling process there is a lime doser that is graduated as required for the mill.
The SRL pump transfers the solution, through a 2″ diameter pipe to the cyclone, in this grinding section and SRL pump there is a remote control board that controls the motors of this area. Code: TAB-000002. The characteristics of the motors and others are:
Galigher SRL Pump. DENVER brand (without plate), with 2½”x 2″ inlet and outlet, with Weg brand electric motor, 12.5 Hp, 1705 Rpm. Code: MOT-000015.
The cyclone distributes the “rich” solution with the fine concentrate to the first agitator tank (“super” agitator), and the coarse concentrate passes to a thickener and is returned to the mill. In tank A-1 the solution has an agitation process of 48 hours and then passes to the following tanks. In this area there is a Barren solution tank, this solution is transferred from the tailings through a 2″ pipe by a KSB pump, 20 Hp. This solution contains reagents that are used again in the milling process to lower the costs of the process.
The tanks have a continuous agitation process, after the solution passes through tank A-1, the solution passes to tank A-2 and after 24 hours of agitation it passes to tank A-3. After this agitation process the solution passes to the CIP tanks. In this area is located the reagent doser (Cyanide) that by gravity goes to the grinding section for the capture of fines. The characteristics of the motors and others in this area are:
Agitator A-2 of 10’x12′ FIMA – DENVER code: TAK-000004, with electric motor Weg. 10 Hp. 1160 Rpm. 440 v. three-phase, model NBR 7094, series 61948864Z code: MOT-000016.
Agitator A-3 of 10’x12′ FIMA – DENVER code: TAK-000004, with electric motor Weg. 10 Hp. 1160 Rpm. 440 v. three-phase, model NBR 7094, series 61348864Z, code: MOT-000017.
Reagent Conditioner. NaCnH2O (cyanide), 4’x4′, with Delcrosa 2.4 Hp. electric motor, 1720 Rpm. 1720 Rpm. Model NV90L4, series 120642M1, code: MOT-000010.
After the agitation process of tank A-3, this enriched solution passes to the adsorption tank CIP-1, which contains activated carbon, gradually after the agitation process where the fine is absorbed by the carbon, the already less “enriched” solution passes to CIP-2 and successively to CIP-3. The 03 tanks contain activated carbon and are “harvested” after being enriched, after analysis of the carbon and solution. In this area there is an air compressor (blower) that has the function of oxygenating all the agitation tanks.
