He studied Industrial Engineering at the Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal in Peru, and has completed a postgraduate degree in "Identification, Formulation, Evaluation and Management of Social and Productive Public Investment Projects" at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Peru.

He has participated in the elaboration of geological and geometallurgical models, development from project to mine phase, as well as geological re-evaluation of the deposit that allowed the increase of resources, design and supervision of greenfield and brownfield strategies, design and supervision of diamond drilling, as well as budget management. He studied Mining Engineering at the National Engineering University of Peru.
