Magnetometry and induced polarization study.

Geophysical Survey

VDG del Perú S.A.C. completed a second ground geophysics campaign in October 2008. The geophysical methods applied were magnetometry and induced polarization surveys. The objective of the geophysical campaign on the Los Hornos gold project was to determine the extent of the anomaly detected in the first geophysical campaign, related to a possible Cu-Au porphyry at depth.

The geophysical results allow us to conclude the following:

Resistivity delineates moderate-high resistivity values (<1,600 Ohm*m) from surface to 100-150 meters depth, corresponding to alteration zones or lithological contacts; and higher resistivity values (>2,000 Ohm*m) at greater depth.
The chargeability results agree between the two campaigns, confirming a weak anomaly (IP-1) at a depth of approximately 200 meters. The IP-1 anomaly correlates with high resistivity values at depth.
The IP-1 anomaly sub-flows east of the 1500N line in the Huscacocha creek.

The anomaly boundaries have been delineated on the sections and on the interpretation map.
